Their general location is marked by a large spider web icon on the map, though the Skulltula's precise location must be figured out from the scratching noise, with the music also becoming quieter when nearby. They are larger than before and appear for a short period when certain battle conditions are met. In Hyrule Warriors, Gold Skulltulas hold illustration pieces and appear in scenarios in Legend Mode as well as a few in Adventure Mode. Link gets a different reward for obtaining all of the Gold Skulltula Spirits in each location. Aside from out in the open, they can appear in soil, jars, a chandelier, and even beehives. They have the same basic behavior as before, but can now sometimes move back and forth over a limited area. Gold Skulltulas are the same size of Skullwalltulas and can be found in a variety places.
